This was a test and turned out to be a small lap blanket. It is actually made from yarn that you would normally use for dish cloths. I loved the color so much I had to play with. It is made up from single, double and triple crochet; half-double and popcorn stitches. The yarn is Sugar'n'Cream Stripes, called Natural Stripe. It is easy to handle and I recommend it for a beginner.
I actually made this hat and scarf over two years ago and had put them away. I would like to find the pattern because they were so easy. The hat consist mostly of a half-double crochet with variation of single and double crochet. The scarf was a pattern that I found on the yarn wrapper of Caaon Simply Soft yarn. It consist of a shell pattern.
Do you like to crochet? Are you really good at it? Would you want to share your thoughts, ideas, talent?
LET'S BLOG about it. I would love to generate more interest. I have been crocheting off and on for years. Mostly I would get frustrated because I could not completely figure out a pattern. I recently have done so much better and have even completed a few items, one was a shawl that I presented as a birthday gift.
So, let me know if we could make this work. Stop by and join as a member and I will be in touch. Post an email or blog site that you have. I am over a Facebook as well. Search for Sandy Davison and post a message.
Thanks!
